Funding your business in a recession

Financing a business or funding a new project in recession is always going to be the number one challenge for business owners and Directors. If you are looking to change your current banking arrangement to save money or to raise additional funds Johnson Gibbs have both traditional banking arrangements and private equity finance available at highly competitive rates. We are also participating in helping businesses access the government led National Loan Guarantee Scheme (NLGS).

By raising funds at lower costs using the Government’s credit rating, the scheme allows banks to offer loans at a reduced rate, passing 100% of the benefit to UK businesses. Firms eligible to take up the funding will benefit from a 1% discount on standard loans. If you are a UK business with a turnover below £50m, you could be eligible for cheaper loans through the scheme.

The most common problem facing businesses is funding a large equipment purchase or trying to take advantage of new markets in Europe or further afield. Johnson Gibbs can quickly help with Independent and experienced advice. We have a range of loans to suit your business needs. You can email an outline of your funding requirement to us at finance@johnsongibbs.co.uk or call us on 01926 494457 for a confidential discussion about your business.
